This replaces the OEM rubber seal that comes from the factory.
 
Reasearch shows evidence that the OEM factory seal allows for cavitation and movement of the wear ring, but this will make a water and air tight seal between your wear ring and pump support, minimizing loss of propulsion & cavitation.
 
Replacing your wear ring with a stainless steel one? This is a must have... We highly recommend this product for Stainless Steel Wear Rings to mitigate the risk of movement and contact between the impeller and wear ring inner housing - specifically when jumping! 
These seals will not work with the CanTune Delrin Wear Rings, but will work for the OEM rings and stainless steel wear rings.
